Administrative Survival Guide

Administrative Survival Guide

During your studies at UBFM, you will encounter various administrative obstacles. This section is meant to serve as a pocket guide, to help you overcome them.

Some of the paperwork that must be filled out includes:

  • "Bela Prijava" - the white exam application
  • "ŠV Obrazac" - the enrolment form
  • "Karton" - student attendance form
  • "Semestralni list" - semester summary sheet

Student vs. Documents

Administrative documents can be quite a nightmare, especially if they are written in an unknown language or alphabet. In accordance with Serbian law, all official documents at our Faculty must be in Serbian Cyrillic. Luckily, we are here to help!

Exam registration:

Exam registration consists of 2 steps:

Karton:

"Karton" literally means "cardboard", and is a record of student attendance and points. See more information about it here: Everything about the "Karton"

ŠV form:

The SV form is filled out before enrolling in each academic year. It can be a bit difficult, so detailed instructions for filling it out can be found here: SV form in detail / SV form

Semester verification:

During your 6 years of education in this program, at the end of each of the 12 semesters, a semester verification must be done. Verification consists of each department head signing your Index and filling out the semester sheet. After successfully collecting the signatures of all department heads, you give the index together with the semester sheet to the student service. The condition for getting a signature in the index is regular attendance at lectures, exercises, and seminars, and if you fail to verify the semester, you will not be able to take exams. If you are not sure how to fill out the semester sheet, please look here: How to fill out the semester sheet

Pro tip: Print a lot of your pictures (3x3.5cm). Many documents you fill out require a picture of yourself attached, so print as many as possible and keep them with you so that there are no unpleasant surprises later. A printable template can be found here: Template
