22nd May 2020

MEASURES TO REDUCE THE RISK OF COVID-19 DISEASE

AT THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF BELGRADE

Exams and other student obligations that cannot be conducted remotely must be organized in compliance with the following measures:

  • Students, teachers and other staff should not enter the premises of the Faculty if they have a fever, cough, "shortness of breath", as well as if they are suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2 or could to be in contact with persons positive for SARS-CoV-2. This notice should be placed so that it is visible to all teachers, associates, students and employees of the Faculty.

  • At the entrance to the premises of the Faculty, as well as at the places where exams are performed (before and after entering the room), it is necessary to install dispensers with hand sanitizer, with written instructions on use.

  • It is mandatory to wear masks indoors.

  • EXAMS IN CLINICAL SUBJECTS CANNOT BE HELD WITHIN HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS, ESPECIALLY NEAR THE PATIENT ROOMS, AS WELL AS OTHER ROOMS FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS.

Outside these spaces within hospitals, if there is not enough space for exams to take place in standard rooms, it is necessary to designate additional spaces (library, amphitheaters, large classrooms, etc.), respecting the aforementioned recommendations.

  • It is necessary to define the procedures for drawing exam questions, so that the student does not touch the cards on which the questions are.

  • Tests should take place in small groups of a maximum of 50 students, in a space where a distance between students of at least 2 m can be provided, and if it is an amphitheater, natural ventilation is necessary.
Students are required to have masks and gloves that they will put in an infectious waste bin / bag after the exam and perform hand hygiene. Students waiting in front of the amphitheater to take the test should be fine, 2 m away from each other. STUDENTS WHO DON’T HAVE MASKS AND GLOVES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE EXAM.

  • In front of each amphitheater, it is necessary to place signs where students can stand before entering the amphitheater. After each exam, disinfection of the amphitheater is necessary

  • After completing the test, the tests are packed in paper bags / boxes, and teachers are required to review the tests using masks and gloves.
After inspecting the tests, place gloves and masks in an infectious waste bin / bag and perform hand hygiene. Keep the tests packed in paper bags.

The distance between teachers, associates and non-teaching workers must be at least 2 m away.
