Dear colleagues,

As you may already know the X semester begins on Monday, 2nd of March.

You will continue with the course of Surgery, in this semester lectures and practicals will be held three times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), mostly from 8.00 a.m. if not posted different.

Timetable will be placed on this site. Lectures will begin with one day of Plastic surgery that remained (2nd March) and then simultaneously with orthopedic and pediatric surgery according to the given timetable.

Plastic Surgery, Monday 2^nd March: Practicals will begin at 8.00h. Meeting point is at the Clinic for plastic and reconstructive surgery of the CCS, in the Old Building of the Emergency Centre of CCS, Pasterova 2. Assigned professor is Marko Jović who will distribute you to the other assistants. Practicals will be followed by theoretical lecture in Plastic Surgery – Topic: Skin tumors, delivered by Assoc Prof. Jelena Jeremić and will be held on the same day at 10:00 AM in the Amphiteataer of the Old Building of the Emergency Centre of CCS, Pasterova 2.

The first five lectures in orthopedics will be held at the CCS (the old building of the Orthopedic clinic, amphitheatre, from 8 a.m.) and will be followed by practicals (schedule according to clinical assistants will be attached separately on this site). Lecturers in charge are Prof. Goran Tulić and Clin assist Ivana Glišović. Afterwards Orthopedics will continue at the Orthopedic clinic Banjica (Amphitheatre, 1^st floor, 8.00 a.m. Professors in charge there are Prof. Zoran Baščarević and Prof. Duško Spasovski.

Pediatric surgery will be held at Children’s university hospital (“Tiršova”, Amphitheatre from 8.00 a.m.) Professor in charge is Prof. Sanja Sinđić-Antunović, and the Institute for mother and child “dr Vukan Čupić” also from 8.00 a.m. The lecturer in charge there is Prof. Mila Stajević.

Neurosurgery will be held at the Neurosurgical clinic of CCS (Amphitheatre, from 8.00 a.m.), lecturer in charge is Prof. Vladimir Baščarević

Urology will be held at the old Urology clinic (Resavska 51, Library, from 8.30 a.m.) Professor in charge is Assoc Prof. Ivan Vuković

You will also have two days of Surgical oncology; one at the Institute for oncology and radiology, Pasterova 14 – Prof Ivan Marković, and the second at the CC Bežanijska Kosa – Prof Dejan Nikolić.

The semester ends with Endocrine Surgery (two days, 10^th floor of the New building of the Clinical Center of Serbia, from 8.00h), Professors in charge are Prof Vladimir Živaljević and Assoc Prof Nikola Slijepčević.

Finally, there will be one-day classes in Surgical epidemiology, at the Institute of Epidemiology, Višegradska 26a.

We will also organize the second colloquia (abdominal, vascular and cardiac surgery) in the first half of April.
