Dear students, the colloquium in Epidemiology will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 14.15 to 15.00 in Epidemiology classrooms (Višegradska 26A)

Students who do not take the colloquium will have the chance to repeat it the following week.

 

All topics that you worked through in the 5^th semester will be included in the battery of questions:

1) Measurement of Health and Disease and Standardization;

2) Leading causes of Morbidity and Mortality,

3) Sources of data;

4) Principles of prevention;

5) Causation in Epidemiology;

6) Burden of diseases;

7) Epidemiological models;

8) Reservoirs and sources of infection;

9) Modes of transmission of infectious diseases;

10) Natural history and spectrum of disease,

11) Immunization and

12) Hospital infections.

 

Use the textbook by Bonita et al., your Workbook of Practical Sessions as well as the recorded lectures (available to you on the Reticulum) to prepare. The sample questions are sent along with this email.

 

The colloquium has 30 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer is awarded 0.7 points. The maximum points that you can accrue on the colloquium is 21 points.
