Dear students,

At the beginning of this X semester make-up, 19 students have assigned for elective surgery course "Surgical treatment of the wound".  We thank you for your interest in surgery and through this course we will give you the opportunity to upgrade your surgical education. In order to organize practical classes, I divided students into three subgroups. Every group will have a clinical assistant in charge (from Clinics for Vascular and Cardiac surgery of the CCS – Second surgical clinic). Subgroups, assistants and their contacts will be posted on this site. Practical classes will be held during assistant’s on call duty hours (outside regular working hours), in order to avoid overlapping with your regular everyday classes and also this conception will give you the possibility for more practical education. Students will have to attend three practical sessions with their assistants. It is on students to establish contacts with assistants and make further steps.

Please do not hesitate to contact them promptly in order to schedule your practicals timely, due to their (and yours) other obligations.

In regard of theoretical lectures, they will be posted online, on the reticulum for this elective course. I have already posted my recorded lecture “Trauma & Wound” consisting of three parts.
