Elective surgery course - Surgical treatment of the wound

Dear students,

At the beginning of this X semester, 19 students have assigned for elective surgery course "Surgical treatment of the wound".  We thank you for your interest in surgery and through this course we will give you the opportunity to upgrade your surgical education. In order to organize practical classes, I divided students into three subgroups. Every group will have a clinical assistant in charge (from the Clinic for Vascular surgery of the CCS – Second surgical clinic). Subgroups, assistants and their contacts will be posted on this site. Practical classes will be held during assistant’s on call shifts (outside regular working hours), in order to avoid overlapping with your regular everyday classes and also this concept will give you the possibility for more practical education. Students will have to attend three practical sessions with their assistants. It is on students to establish contacts with assistants and make further steps. I advise that each group elect one representative for a contact with assistant.

Please do not hesitate to contact them promptly in order to schedule your practicals timely, due to their (and yours) other obligations.

Practicals should be accomplished till the end of May. 

For theoretical part, Prof Danijel Galun, Assoc Prof Andreja Dimić and me will hold you 3 lectures, one after another, in one day (for the whole group of 19 students) at the amphitheatre of the Second surgical clinic. In consultation with your representatives, we will fix the date and time in regard to your other obligations. I remain open for any additional matters and issues.
