Dear colleagues, the final exam is scheduled for Thursday, January 28. There are 33 names on the list, so you will be divided into two groups in order to respect the epidemiological rules. Over the next week, I'll send you a message informing you how to share groups. The first group starts at 10 a.m. and the second group at 12 a.m. at the Institute of Forensic Medicine. I hope that the Board will allow this way of organizing exams.

 

The first part of the exam (practical part) will be a description and diagnosis of injuries. Each student will receive a photo of the injury and a form in which the description and diagnosis of the injury should be written in 30 minutes in accordance with the Powerpoint Presentation I sent you during the course. Your description and diagnosis will be graded from 6 to 10, and this will be the first part of the final total score of points.

 

The second part of the exam is a test consisting of 60 questions and should be completed in 90 minutes. Each question contains an explanation of how to answer and the number of correct or incorrect answers to choose. All correct answers will count, while one incorrect answer (if there are more than one correct) will mean that the complete answer is negative. You can use a graphite pencil and eraser during the preparation of the test, but all your final answers must be clearly written with a ballpoint pen and without erasing.

 

The final test consists of 60 questions, with a maximum of 60 test points. The minimum for passing the exam is 30.6 points (51% of 60). Since the final test this year gives 90 points in the final result, the achieved number of test points will be multiplied by 1.5 to get points for the final score:

e.g. 52 test points multiplied by 1.5 will give 78 final score points; 60 test points multiplied by 1.5 will give 90 final score points. Those final score points will be summed with the number of points achieved in the practical part.

 

Therefore, the total score of the points will be the sum of points from the practical part and the test, and the way of forming the final grade will be as follows:

Example - A student who achieves 10 points in the practical part and 52 test points (multiplied by 1.5 = 78 final score points) will get grade 9 (nine):
