Dear students,
Due to the complicated Sars-CoV2 epidemiological situation, including the high-rate of Coronavirus infection amongst teachers and other health personnel in our teaching bases, the Board for Studies in English has decided that practical lessons have to be moved online until further notice.
Teachers have been granted 1-2 weeks for the preparation of online practicals study material, so you could expect online practicals on our portal around that time. For all the practicals that could not be held due to the Covid pandemic, students will have the opportunity for do-overs free of charge once the health situation gets better.
Meanwhile, we shall continue with online lectures on a regular basis.
During the next two weeks you will have both colloquia, the first in General surgery and anesthesiology, and the second in Digestive Surgery. Colloquia are designed as an online MCQ tests on our study platform, with 20 questions both, with each giving you 10 points (20 in total) for your final grade in Surgery.
As a quick reminder, the final grade in Surgery (100 points) is obtained as a sum of points from both colloquia (10+10 maximum), the final test (70 points maximum) and students' commitment during all the classes held (10 points maximum).
The First colloquium is scheduled on Monday, November 30th at 10 o'clock, and the second on Monday, December 7th also at 10 o'clock, which is our regular scheduled timetable for classes in Surgery. Please be aware that there will not be any possibility for colloquium repetition or do-over due to students absence, so make sure that you are present online on time for the test opening, as the test is time-limited to 15 minutes only.
Please follow all the posts here about colloquium schedule and other important information.
Best regards,
Prof. Slavko Matić,
