Dear students,

During this IX semester, 19 students have assigned for elective surgery course "Initial treatment of severe trauma".  I thank you for your interest in surgery and through this course we will give you the opportunity to upgrade your surgical education. In order to organize practical classes, I have divided students into three subgroups of 6-7. Every group will have a clinical assistant in charge. Subgroups, assistants and their contact numbers will be posted on this site. Practical classes will be held during assistant's oncall duty hours (outside regular working hours), in order to avoid overlapping with your regular everyday classes and also this conception will give you the possibility for closer practical education. Students will have to attend three practical sessions with their assistants. It is on students to establish contacts with assistants and make further steps.

In regard of theoretical lectures, we will organize one-time session (for whole elective course group) with two to three lectures one after another.

We will set the time and date for this theoretical lectures adittionaly, but I expect it to be between 2-20 December
