Obstetrics and Gynaecology course aims at achieving theoretical and practical knowledge from this subject which could be useful in everyday work of general practitioners.
It is planned that Gynecology lectures enable students/future doctors in primary health care to identify gynecological diseases, as well as to teach them contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. In the field of Obstetrics it is planned that students get whole insight into the course of normal as well as high-risk pregnancy, necessary hygiene and diet during pregnancy, appropriate approach to various pathological diseases and disorders during pregnancy, how to psychophysically prepare pregnant women for labour, as well as the course of delivery itself. Especially important is continuous time spent in the delivery ward which will last for 7 days.
