Dear students,

Welcome to the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade!

On behalf of the Dean’s Collegium, members of the Coordinating Body for Studies in the English Language, and on my own behalf, I wish you a successful beginning of the new academic year. You have been chosen among the best candidates, and therefore – we expect the best academic achievement from you.

Obviously, the beginning of this academic year will be nothing like any previous year. The situation caused by covid 19 made us close ranks in order to organize instruction partly on line, and yet to preserve the same quality which our Faculty has always boasted. The heads of first year studies (Prof. Suzana Cvjetićanin - Human Genetics, Prof. Valentina Nikolić - Anatomy, Prof. Miljana Obradović - Histology and Embriology, Prof. Svetozar Putnik - First Aid, Prof. Sofija Mičić Kandijaš – Humanities, and Prof. Danica Grujičić - Basics of Clinical Practice) are available for all your questions and dilemmas.

Apart from studying, we hope that you will find time to forge friendships which would last all your lives. We have no doubt that we have admitted another  exceptional generation of future doctors. We promise to be your support.
